We warn you at the outset: if you don't feel up to it, take the help of a professional or have it installed by a professional company. Improper installation of the device may void the warranty or even destroy the charger. It can also pose a threat to the health and life of users.

It's a good idea to choose the type and wattage of the device based on the type of wiring (single or three-phase) as well as the expected charging power. The latter parameter is often limited by the electric vehicle manufacturer (e.g. the Nissan Leaf can be charged with AC power with a maximum output of 6 kW).
Before installing the Wallbox, choose where you will install the charger. A covered garage will be best. In this case, however, you must have enough space to move around freely once you have parked your electric car. A good wallbox is IP66 rated, so you can install it outside (e.g. on a post next to a parking space in the driveway, or under a parking canopy). However, check that the electrical installation is at a distance that allows the device to be connected using the factory power cord.
2. Install the wallbox on a wall or stand
Once you've chosen the perfect location for your Wallbox installation, it's time to install it. You will need:
- A drill and drill bits,
- screwdrivers,
- a piece of adhesive tape.
Remove the mounting template from the packaging and use a piece of duct tape to attach it to the wall or stand in your chosen location. Then drill holes according to the holes in the template and insert the mounting dowels found in the Wallbox. Remove the template, put the mounting plate in place and secure it with the screws. Now carefully hang the device onto the mounting plate brackets. Depending on the model of device you have chosen, you may also mount a cable or plug holder. Then remove the foil protecting the front panel of the device.

3. Connect the Wallbox to the electrical system
Remember that the Wallbox is an electrical device that operates with 220 V or 380 V. Touching either of these poses a fatal hazard. We therefore recommend, regardless of your skill level, to have your Wallbox connected to the mains by an electrician. This way you will be sure of a correct installation, you will take care of your safety and the safety of your loved ones, and you will not lose the warranty on the device.
As long as the distance of the Wallbox installation site from the electrical installation is no greater than the length of the power cables, the electrician will not have much work to do and should be able to deal with everything in less than half an hour.
